Jon Guthrie
Multi-Area Director
As a former coach, Jon used his platform for ministry. Jon's passion is now helping coaches understand their impact on students goes far beyond the plays they execute and the wins they accumulate. Investing in the coaches and students of West Alabama is an honor and a great responsibility. This area of the state holds most of Jon's childhood memories of family and faith. The mission of FCA is to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church. Therefore, it is work that cannot be accomplished alone. Pray for ways that you can partner with Jon and West Alabama FCA to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.

Riley Balsmeyer
Area Rep
Riley moved to West Alabama after spending the last 3 years at Miami University in Oxford, OH where she worked with the women's volleyball program as a graduate assistant and operations coordinator. Prior to Miami, Riley played volleyball at Alabama A&M University while obtaining a degree in Physical Education and coaching club volleyball.
Riley has always had a passion for teaching and coaching and she is excited to be able to use her experience to serve coaches and athletes in West Alabama. Riley believes that athletics have the unique potential to be a portal for hearts to change by the power and love of Jesus Christ.
